Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church

We are located in the small community of La Honda, an hour or so south of San Francisco.
Our Lady of Refuge is a mission of Our Lady of the Pillar in Half Moon Bay.

For most recent updates on church activities please check out the OLR Facebook page.

Please join us for Sunday Mass each week at 10:30 AM.

Built in 1954, Our Lady of Refuge is small and rustic, set in the redwood forest in the southern part of the Archdiocese of San Francisco. The church is only a short drive from the campgrounds at Portola Redwoods State Park and San Mateo County Memorial Park and the YMCA camps in La Honda and Loma Mar. Visitors are always welcome to join us for coffee after Sunday Mass.

The rustic church grounds are a peaceful place to pray and a welcome haven for wildlife.
